About the store

Why Groundhog Day?

The marmot is a cute and friendly animal with warm fur. The mountain variety of marmots lives in the harsh conditions of the Alpine mountains, where summer warmth comes late and winter comes early.

In the USA and Canada, since 1886, Groundhog Day has been celebrated every February 2nd. On this day, the duration of winter is determined by the behavior of the groundhog. According to legend, if the day is cloudy, the groundhog does not see his shadow and calmly leaves the hole, which means that winter will soon end and spring will come early. If the day is sunny, the groundhog sees his shadow and hides back in the hole - there will be six more weeks of winter.

In addition, the marmot is the mascot of the Marmot company, whose products have formed the basis of our store’s collection from the very beginning and are a special source of pride to this day.

The selection of brands for our stores is a matter of special pride. We sell equipment of which we are confident. Everything we sell in our stores is tested many times under the most extreme conditions.

The people working in our company are passionate travelers and athletes. In any store you will receive professional advice and quality service. This is why most buyers become our friends and members of the “Marmot Club” - which allows them not only to receive information about new products from their favorite brands, but also to have significant discounts on purchases.
